Good Evening, Just added some frames & charts on Etsy

Hi everyone, I just love reading your comments and thank you. I will this week stop by every ones blog that left me a comment.
I just finished the frames and added a small bonus chart to go along with them, so for every frame purchased I will send you the design of my 4 tiny acorns. I only have so many frames that I made from this batch. I can never get the same 2 batches of faux paint and finishing the same. Oh well, I guess that is what makes them originals. I thought the opening was exactly one inch but it is 1 1/4 inches. So I still stitched my piece and framed it like any other picture with the extra material around and pinned it over mounting board, Here is the picture.
I am off to stitch some more and then tomorrow is a day set aside for painting. We go to the used furniture shops and pick up things that I can refinish. Oh what fun!!
Have a good night

More To Share & Peek @ "Oak Hill"

Good morning everyone, Sooo cold outside and it is beautiful. I want to thank Annie for sharing her pick of "Pumpkin Head Family" She stitched it and finished on top of an Altoids tin. So check it out if you have not seen it yet. It is so cute!!

My Foot is in the pic, oh no I need a pedicure!!
I have a peek for you of "Oak Hill". It is not up to date yet. I have so much more complete but the idea is that I am using Wool in some of my new designs. I have planned a "Winter White"  design that will be a vase with all white and cream flowers along with shades of beige and white wool added. This will be combined with cross stitch.
And I also have my frame already purchased from Michael's. It is a shadow box frame for an 11 X 14 design, (I had a 40% off coupon) and I can interchange the pieces because I will make the "Winter White" the same size. Always trying to be frugal as much as I can. HAHA!!
For summer I have planned a "Mermaid" with a cross stitched upper body and wool body like scalesl!! Can't wait.

I have been busy painting some frames that I purchased unfinished with 1 inch square openings. So here is a peek of those and I just need to add the black paint around the edges and I will have them available on Etsy. I also ordered some more of the 2 inch opening frames from Olde Colonial Designs (just have to wait until they are back from a show).

I will send out newsletters to shops about my  3 new releases.  I will add a freebie chart to their newsletter for them to distribute in their shops for their customers. So make sure your local shop has signed up for my newsletter.

I believe I mentioned it before but I am releasing the last of the Funky Flowers in Packs of 2 and calling them "Sisters".
I will also have 1 free bonus chart included in the last 4 of the sister packs. They are called  "Funky Flower Stitch An Inch. I will stitch the first one up for you soon and it will be included in "LAURA & JENNIFERS" pack. (It is a red with green background flower) It would make a nice scissor fob for a friend for Christmas. Or if you stitch all 4 as a grouping into a square over 1 it will fit in the 2x2 inch opening in the Olde Colonial Frames. Or if you stitch over 2 on 28ct linen or on 14ct Aida 1 one of the flowers would fit perfectly.
Well I am off to stitch and take more pictures for you. I will share another picture of "Oak Hill" tomorrow with the wool leaves all dressed up for you. Have a wonderful day and enjoy your stitching in this beautiful weather.

Time To Share

I cant believe its been a week since my last post!!. I have been busy stitching away.

I have a photo of one of my new Funky Flowers to share with you. I am releasing the next 2 as sisters. There will be 2 flowers in 1 chart pack along with a bonus chart. The names are "Funky Flower Laura & Jennifer" after 2 of my cousins. I stitched "Laura" over (1) to be different and gave her a Weeks Dye Works floss for the background. I also was playing with the frames and have a wool background for one of them and then I laid the other frame on top. I like the way it looks.
The tiny frame is by Olde Colonial Designs and I will have them make more for me. I just love the over (1) look with a continental stitch.

Laura & Jennifer

My next share for you is "Stitch An Inch Fall" I did not have time to stitch the whole thing but I did manage to stitch one block over 2 on 28ct. So it is a 2x2 design and I have it in another Olde Colonial Design frame. I have these for sale on my Etsy shop for finishing your designs.
Also added on Etsy are some plain bronze pendants that you can finish yourself.

Block #1

I am busy working on "Oak Hill" that will have wool leaves in the scene. OOOO!!! I love it.

Just want to tell everyone that Olde Colonial Designs will have a trunk show of mine at Celebration of Needlework Midwest in St Louis Missouri from Sept 15 - 18,  So if you are in that area check it out.

Also updated are some pictures of Yankee Cross Stitch, we just did a little fall decorating.
Have a wonderful day and if anyone knows who Sherri is please have her email me. I have not been able to send her the raffle prize because she had no link to her name. If I do not hear from her by next Thursday I will raffle it off again. :)))
